A Bit About Me

Liran is a Master’s student in Art Studies at the School of Arts and Humanities, Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. Her research focuses on art criticism, exhibition studies, cross-cultural art history, international biennial systems, and image theory.

She previously served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Arts and Humanities at Sichuan Fine Arts Institute and has been actively involved in academic journal editing, exhibition writing, art project research, and public education. She has also participated in a range of academic and field research projects, including the “Polyphonic Art History” Joint Academic Workshop organized by Peking University and Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, as well as the Yangdeng Art Project.

Her research explores global art history and the circulation and interpretation of Chinese art within cross-cultural contexts. Her academic papers have been selected for multiple art studies forums. Alongside her research and writing practice, her oil painting Xiao Mian was selected for the Second National College Student Fine Arts Exhibition organized by the China Artists Association.
